Royal Wedding Review part 2 - The things i hate

After a good views of the royal wedding of course we have the bad views on the other hand. In my opinion there are several things that not too good enough in the case of "Royal" wedding. Maybe my expectation is too high but i thinks for this million-dollars-wedding, it's just normal to have a big expectation. Okay let's starts the review

The Things Not Too Good Enough from the Royal Wedding

The Decoration

Actually to tell you the truth it's really hard for me to put Westminster Abbey as the "not good enough" parts of the royal wedding. The church itself is very spectacular from the architectural views. Very good details and also that gold ornaments on that church makes it perfect as a place of royal wedding. I love the tree lined aisles and those maple trees made a country style and also warm atmosphere to the buildings. It's very british and i think the usage of tree as centerpiece of wedding decoration is booming since few years ago. I'm not surprised that they will put those maple trees inside the church :) BUT the main point is ... where is the FLOWERS ???!! as long as i see is only greenery from those maple trees. I'm expecting a magnificent decorations from tons of flowers but i'm totally wrong. see the altar from the photos above, i could only see a few floral arrangements and it's also not too big. Even Preston Bailey, the world's well known decorators, asking the same questions about the flowers. we need MORE, MORE, and MORE flowers to make it glamorous. More flower and it would be perfect. I don't think that those decorations are bad. No, I said they're good but they're not good enough for a royal wedding. Well it's just my opinion, because I really concern for a wedding decorations. Decoration the soul of a wedding. But Overall Westminster Abbey looks GOOD with those maple trees, the church itself no need to wear lot of make up to make it pretty. It's already pretty without any decoration.

Kate's Wedding Bouquet     

I think those bouquet is pretty and very suitable with Kate. I also know that many people liked Kate's bouquet because it made from Lily of the valley, a well known high class flowers. Yes i adore those combinations of lily of the valley, hyacinth, ivy, a sprig of myrtle, and sweet william. But as people always say "SIZE" is a matter. The bouquet is too small, it should be little bit bigger and everything looks better. How come her bouquet size is just the same with the bridemaids. The arrangement is good and elegant only Size is the matter for me.


The Balcony

I enjoyed the processions, i love the ideas of greeting fans from balcony, i also like the Buckingham Palace but the balcony is just too plain. only Red fabrics as a center point. Why don't they use some flower arrangement to make the balcony more pretty and romantic, since it was the placed for the wedding kiss. The more flower they put in the balcony, the better photo would appear at the news the day after. But unfortunately they didn't do that. Maybe for the next Royal wedding ( Prince Harry ), they can do better.

The wedding Kiss

I'm little bit disappointed for the wedding kiss. Oh Prince William, why did you kiss your wife suddenly and only for a short time, not more than 5 seconds ? Even in Cinderella the prince will hug first then seeing each other and finally kissing as a closing part. Maybe the Prince is too shy :p hahaha .. or just nervous that he had to kiss her in front of million of people :D i think better to do it 1 times but in a beautiful way than 2 times like he did.

Princesses Eugene and Beatrice

Were they going to Lady Gaga's wedding party ??! for me the worst one is princess eugene's head ornaments. It's a royal wedding and i didn't expect that they would dressed up like that. That beige ribbon ornaments is totally awkward for me. Princess beatrice is not a big deal for me, even it's also looked awkward with her blue hair ornament with furs and flowers. I really understand that they're still young and wanted to look fresh, young and modern but this is not the right place to show up their "youth" spirit as this is the wedding of the world. everyone's waiting for this event.


Okay that's all my review for the Royal Wedding. It's all just my opinion and no offense to all the people that i've mentioned above. I had so much FUN watching this wedding and i can't wait to see the next royal wedding. Prince Harry please get married soon :p hahaha and maybe i could be the next royal wedding's organizer .. it's just my dream. Sometimes dream comes true, just believe on your dream. I think this wedding has inspired millions of people who watched it. we realized that fairy tale wedding is not just in a movie, it's real and this kind of wedding will be a trend for the next few years in my prediction, and so does Kate's dress, it will become a trending model for a wedding dress. Just let's and see :)

Royal Wedding Review - The things i love

The Royal Wedding is over now :) we’re smitten with the Duchess of Cambridge and are more in love with this adorable couple than ever and i really enjoyed those beautiful wedding for sure. What a great wedding ceremony with huge number of euphoria all over the world. I woke up early in the morning just to watch this show so that i wouldn't miss every second of this big event. I watched the live streaming from 3 different sources : BBC, APlive, and ETinsider. They made me to see the wedding from several point of views. Hmm a little bit too over i think hahaha but that's actually what i did yesterday.

Since i was a child, i always interested in a wedding celebration. i don't care about what people think about me because usually boys don't like to talk about wedding but for me it's just beautiful. Wedding dress, cakes, invitations, and many other elements of wedding made me fall in love with wedding. i love fine things such as ancient buildings, handmade things, and so does the wedding occasion. i love to be myself :)

Okay let's back to our main focus, the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. this is the most awaited wedding of the year by all over the world. I've never seen such a huge euphoria just for a wedding occasion  for the last 10 years and as my idol such as Preston bailey, Nimierko, etc have done before, i will also do a review for this royal wedding based on my opinion, everyone has his/her opinion and so do I. you may be agree or disagree, it depends on ourselves :) I will divide my review into 2 parts, the things i love and the things i hate about the royal wedding. Let's begin the review .. yeay i'm so excited to write this.

THE THINGS I LOVE FROM THE ROYAL WEDDING

The Bride

I just love Kate's outfit at the wedding. A simple yet elegant wedding dress by Sarah Burton for Alexander-Mc-Queen house. She looks gorgeous and also stunning. Everything seems perfect from head to toe. Her make up is not too over and also her hair looks with those simple tiara is just perfect. The second dress also by Sarah Burton, i actually don't like it too much because it's just to simple for an evening reception but it still looks good. the first dress is better for me :)

The Prince

 All Prince's outfits from Prince Charles, William, Hary and the others remind me of the cinderella fairy tale movie. Those outfits are similar to cinderella's prince outfit haha :) They looks great and very "Royal" with those colonel of the irish guards costumes. It is a actually traditional costumes but looks very modern on their body. Saluutttee !

The Queen and Carole Middleton

The Queen also looks great and fresh with those striking yellow outfit in her age of 90, especially for her high heels :D hahaha just imagine our grandma using high heels but the queen did it. Carole as the bride's mom also looks pretty with those soft blue outfit. Both of them looks stunning, but sorry for Camillia Parker, your outfit is not good enough in my eyes ;p

The Bridesmaid

Pippa middleton wows the world with her apperance in the royal wedding. she looks great in her outfits. the simple white bridesmaid's outfit by Sarah Burton looks perfect in her body and made her look sexy, she looks very different from her usual looks. Also for the reception dress, emerald green dress with a plunging neckline is again make me surprised. Well, good job pippa ! seems that u'll be famous after the royal wedding.

The Crowd

This is one of the best part of the Royal Wedding. The crowds is superb just one word SUPERB ! millions of people flooding the street in London carrying UK's national flag. Shouting, cheering, and singing, you guys rock !! This is amazing for me.

The Horse wagon

One of my favorite items for this wedding. The Wagon made this wedding as a "Royal" wedding like in a cinderella movie. but in my opinion the wagon should be decorated with a floral arrangements. Put some flowers on it and it would be more beautiful

 

Old Classic Cars

This Wedding is full of old style classic cars. I really love to see those cars at the wedding :) Classic cars for a classic wedding celebration.

The Hair looks of the guests

Hahaha a bit funny watching all woman wearing hats, flowers, or fur accessories on their hair. Mostly wear hats, what a colorful and unique hats. We can find all type of hats with dozens of colors at the wedding, from the small one to the biggest one.

The Wedding Cake

This Royal wedding cake also amazed me. Actually the color is out of my expectation, i'm hopping for more colors rather than white. but the details of this 8-tier-cake is awesome. very elegant and of course beautiful. Fiona Cairns made this cake in an amazing way.

The Flower girls and boys

They're really cute with their outfits. The boys wore red uniforms which made them cool, and the girls looked like angels. Glad to see those kids at the wedding.

The Westminster Abbey and the Choir

This Church is very suitable for a royal wedding. It's architecture represent the royal atmosphere for the wedding. Its gold ornaments make it amazing. Magnificent and artistic place to hold a holy matrimony for will and kate. The seating plan also really well prepared. thumbs up !! The Choir and music background also make me feel the royal atmosphere, great works !

The Soldiers and horses 


Seemed like watching 300 or other war on a movie but they were really exist at the wedding. Their performance at the wedding were awesome, the uniform looks very catchy on our eyes. red and gold, perfect colors for a royal wedding. Their black and white horses looked very strong and brave, i'm glad to see those horses at this wedding. Maybe there were too many horses at that time but who cares with the amount.

Okay this is all that i love from the royal wedding. Of course there are still may things that i love and i couldn't write all of them here but actually this is the main things that made me fall in love to this Royal Wedding.

FERIEN !!! LIBURAN !!! part 2

Aktivitas liburan hari ke 2 ini dimulai dengan olahraga lari pagi ngejar bus di bahnhof, damn !! dengan bawaan ransel yg cukup ribet termasuk tentengan bekal2 dan lain nya kita lari berpacu dengan waktu fiuhh .. dan ketika sanmpe bus baju pun lepek kena keringet haha, hal yg paling nyebelin nya tuh bus nya ngak langsung jalan mungkin krn isinya masih sedikit penumpangnya jd mereka nunggu dulu. woiiiii ngapain gw lari coba kalo tau dia nunguin penumpang haha grrrr bikin energi terbuang sia2 aj deh. 

Hari ini tujuan nya yaitu Weimar, kota yang cukup populer buat anak2 yg belajar deutsch karena weimar ada di buku teks pelajaran dulu. Kota ini sempet dinobatkan jadi kota budaya nya eropa few years ago jadi so pasti banyak museum yang sebagian dinobatkan as a world heritage by unesco, bangunan2 bersejarah, kastil2 dan lain lain nya. Goethe haus, Anna Maria Bibliothek, Weimar universitaet itu contoh bbrp spot favorit di kota ini. Actually this is my traumstadt um Architektur zu studieren *bahasa campur2* hahaha yg artinya kota impian untuk belajar arsitektur, alasan nya tentu aja weimar bauhaus universitaet yang emang khusus untuk ilmu yg berhubungan sama arsitektur n bangunan gitu, udah pasti jaminan mutu punya arsitek lulusan sini. 

Well di kota ini kita ngunjungin cukup banyak spot mulai dari goethe haus, rathaus, stadtschloss, library anna maria, sampe taman yg super besar itu. Suasana kota nya bener2 masih eropa banget dengan bangunan2 artistik dan sistem blok, penduduk nya nggak banyak karena emang kota ini kota wisata gitu deh. overall cukup puas sama kota ini, tapi nggak banget sama jalan kaki nya. we're travelling on foot !! bayangin muterin 1 kota dr ujung ke ujung dengan jalan kaki, untungnya setelah itu kita duduk di kereta nya cukup lama pas perjalanan pulang menuju berlin, meskipun tetep harus ganti kereta 4x .. nyebelin bener yee hahaha

FERIEN !!! LIBURAN !!! part 1

Nggak kerasa udah ngejalanin studkol 2,5 bulan .. the time is running so fast lately .. especially in Germany haha, nah di awal bulan april ada yg namanya Klausur alias ujian .. yah kalo di indo mirip2 kayak UTS lah .. agak2 grogi juga sih secara ini kan ujian pertama semenjak disini, ternyata oh ternyata i did it quite good and smoothly :) butttt DEUTSCH is an exception !!, untuk plajaran 1 ini g angkat tangan dah .. hiks, susah bener yah ujian jerman nya huaaaa :"( ... setelah ujian2 selama 2 minggu tibalah saatnya liburan yeaayy, di german sini Oster alias paskah itu one of the most important event on calendar meskipun sebenernya most of them udah nggak ngeraya-in paskah dalam konteks yg seharusnya, tapi momen paskah ini dipake sama orang2 sini buat liburan n jalan2 .. bukannya ke gereja .. grrrr .. liburan Oster untuk anak studkol lumayan lama 2 minggu !! greattt and now i wanna share bout my first holiday in Germany haha .. biasa aja sih masih dalam negeri malahan banyakan dalam kota juga liburan nya

hmmm i really love this cityyyy .. for sure ! gabungan antara unsur arsitektur yang masih berasa banget eropa nya dengan toko2 retail modern bikin kota ini unik, hahaha .. walaupun kota nya kecil n masih rada2 kuno gimana gitu tapi untuk urusan toko2 nya sih nggak kalah sama berlin si ibukota lah .. ZARA, Benetton, Mango ada disini sih tapi lupakanlah urusan blanja secara student nggak boleh banyak2 belanja haha .. perjalanan ke erfurt dari berlin cukup melelahkan harus naik kereta ke nordhausen sekitar hampir 4 jam untuk ketemuan sama anak2 nordie lain nya, setelah itu masih harus naik bus 30 menit + naik lagi kereta 1 jam .. fiuuhh melelahkan tapi kota nya sih cukup oke, worth it lah jadinya apalagi pake wochenendeticket kan bayarnya cuma 10 euro buat perjalanan yang segitu lamaaa nya haha. di erfurt ini juga ada schloss nya loh lumayan bagus sih menurut g, masih banyak patung2 nya di schloss nya juga ada patung salib nya n kita bisa muter2 di area schloss nya plus ngintip masuk sedikit ke ruang dalem nya juga .. suasana nya juga oke banget krn kt pergi nya sore2 gitu adi udah nggak panas dan karena kita pergi nya pas mau oster jadi kebetulan di erfurt ada semacem festival gitu deh, ky pasar malem klo di indo haha kita sempet beli gulali sama keliling2 liat banyak mainan gitu, so colourful warna warni banget plus banyak lampu lampu nya haha .. n ada 1 mainan serem bangettt kayak tornado di dufan tapi ini tinggi nya 55m n diputernya dashyat gitu alhasil nggak ada yg berani naik deh .. yaapp setelah muter2 kurang lebih 3 jam-an di erfurt kita pun kembali ke nordie buat istirahat, thanks anak2 nordie buat akomodasi gratis nya hahaha, thanks agus buat kamar nya yg udah dipinjemin :)
